To Faith?

To those who fear and those who failed

to those who sought, who fought, prevailed

to what, to whom, the unsubscribed

offer sacrifice or bribe?

To those whose journey, shadowcast

To those who hold to faith steadfast

to what, to whom, have i denied

this query as yet, unreplied...

If faith is but a well greased swine

to what, unanchored, seek divine?

If mine is not to question, test

Then mind is not so cherished, blessed....

Faith unravels much like rope

And, all that perseveres is hope....

To Faith !

To those who question and those who rail

to those who flap, and yap, and flail

to them, and who, can not decide

I offer this gentle aside

To those who seek, without recovery

To those who snub other's discovery

to seeking souls will I now try

with fair answer, to reply

If doubt is all there is to sing

to what, pray tell me, do you cling.

If one does not accept true faith

then life is but an empty space

Doubt strangulates more than a rope  

so I choose faith and love and hope
