The Query
Is there sense to be found my friend?
In the things not understood today,
Help see me through and until when,
The truths have bloomed like the flowers in May.
Are there gifts to be found my friend?
In the emptiness found today,
Help me feel content and until when,
There is fullness and plenty amongst the fray,
Is there peace to be found my friend?
In the short sighted world today,
Help me think well and until when,
The sins of misguidance are put at bay,
Is there love to be found my friend?
In the cold distrust of your brethren today,
Help me open my arms and until when,
The choirs of the world sing its praise,
Are my queries confusing my friend?
In this cyber world of today,
Help me to always question and until when,
The truths have bloomed like the flowers in May.

You wonder, you ponder my friend
the great questions of life
with the ears of my heart I hear
your curious internal strife.
Life is serious my good friend
but don't take it so
let laughter and mirth rule
joy you reap, if these you sow.
Sit with me, share coffee my friend
share ideas of the mind
the hurts and joys of the heart
and truth we will find.
Love? you seek love my friend?
you seek well
for life without love
is an earthly form of hell.
May flowers will bloom dear friend
if planted, watered, weeded
let us be humble
for truth is lost to the conceited.

Solitude
Before the dawn, before the night
succumbs to day, and breaking light
before the robin redbreast sings
disturbs the solitude it brings....
Before the shadows cast upon
reflections, deeds as yet begun
before the skies, magenta hued
interrupts his solitude...
Before serenity is torn
in solitude, he is reborn
before another dawn arrives
hope as yet, prevails, survives....
before reality intrudes
he revels in his solitude.…
